Since our establishment over 30 years ago, Korea Telephone Directory has been contributing to the development of the communications industry through telephone directory service, a necessary medium of information for daily life.

We have also benefited the public interest through greater user convenience.

In line with the government's privatization plans of 1997, Korea Telephone Directory was transformed from an agency institution of Korea Telecom and adopted an independent business management system to ensure self-regulation and the creativity of privately-run management.
Under the renewed spirit of our 2nd founding, Korea Telephone Directory has established a completely new corporate culture.

We are carrying out management reform that emphasizes customer satisfaction in addition to expanding our R&D and investment activities for stronger competitiveness. The 21st century will surely be the age of information. In keeping with the times, Korea Telephone Directory is committed to increasing convenience and satisfaction by providing a greater variety of information and easier-to-use telephone directory service that meet the changing needs of our customers.

Our efforts to stay ahead do not end there, however. In addition to publishing printed telephone directories, Korea Telephone Directory produces CD-ROM directories and maps that contain the names and telephone numbers of every company, business and individual in Korea. We are also expanding our activities in the multimedia business, which includes both printed and electronic media, while providing even more new types of value-added information services.
